Shahram Boroumand LPTA, COMT, CMT

Shahram is a certified physical therapist in Germany and LPTA in United State. During his physical therapy education, which he completed in 1995, he was intensively trained in the Lehnart Schroth technique, a three- dimensional scoliosis treatment, and the Bobath technique, also known as “neuro-developmental treatment” (NDT). After that, he worked in an in-patient neurological and physical therapy clinic where he had the opportunity to treat patients with a variety of neurological conditions, like MS, paraplegia, Parkinson, and cerebral paresis. Later, he worked in an orthopedic out-patient clinic where he successfully completed a two year Orthopedic Manual Therapy continuing education program and attended a series of Applied Kinesiology courses.

In 2000, he started and completed his training in GYROTONIC I- II and GYROKINESIS. He is also certified in GYROTONIC specialized equipment, the Arch Way (Ladder) and the Jumping Stretching Board. In 2005 he completed his second massage therapy certification program.

His passion to help scoliosis patients made him refine and improve his scoliosis techniques. His vast knowledge of human anatomy, his experience in exercise and movement, and his careful study of scoliosis led him to design the Complete Scoliosis Program ®, a methodology to treat scoliosis and teach other professionals how to address this complex condition with more confidence. He strongly believes that an intensive and carefully designed exercise program can enormously reduce the degree of scoliosis and improve overall functionality.
